Mustachio Pistachio Pears with Chocolate and Riesling {Recipe Redux/Sponsored}

Well, hello there! I am talking about pistachios again, not only because they are a skinny nut and have numerous health benefits. I am posting this pairing because I am entering a contest sponsored by Pistachio Health Institute and am eligible to win prizes associated with the contest. I was not compensated for my time. My 7 year old son influenced this pairing. He came home from school with a paper mustache on a stick and started calling himself, “Mustachio”. I recently bought a mustache cookie cutter in hopes of making mustache cookies. Who knew I would be making fruit mustaches? This is a simple pairing of pears (cut out mustaches), chocolate dip, in-shell pistachios, and German Riesling. Why specify German Riesling? It’s the best I’ve ever had and goes perfectly with in-shell pistachios and this fun and conversational dessert. It will definitely get your guests “crackin” up and leave some pistachios in your “stach”. Mustachio Pistachios Pears + Chocolate + Wine = Healthy & Fun! You also won’t add many calories to a meal serving this dessert.
